What measures success in Sales?

Is measuring success in sales any different then measuring success in life?

I think it depends on what your core values are. If you base it on money, power, status etc... Then yes. Something happened to me in the last two years that I don't base it on those things that I used to. I still need those things but they are not the basis of my being in sales. Not sure if that makes any sense. I guess I will have to elaborate on that over the next few days,weeks,months.
